Hanna-Maria Seppälä is a World champion in freestyle swimming, alumna of University of Jyväskylä, and a life-long student with a dyslexia diagnose. She is a living example of a person, who has tackled the challenges and managed to combine professional sports and studying on a top level. After swimming 17 years as a professional on the top level, she retired from swimming at 2016.
Seppälä’s story is a great combination of Finnish Sisu, hard work, and talent. She told us about achieving success within the Finnish education system, as well as her future plans about conquering new heights: her next target is to get in to the Medical studies.
