In this track, you will visit both University of Jyväskylä and JAMK University of Applied Sciences and be introduced to some of the important fields the institutions focus on. There will be an extensive overview on the facilities and important fields of the institutions, and a look at the daily life of students. A Finnish lunch and coffee are also included in the track.
Higher education in Finland has a dual structure, and it is provided by universities and universities of applied sciences (UAS), and anybody with a high school or vocational education can apply to either. The current aim is that in 2030 half of the Finnish population between 25 and 34 years will have a higher education degree.
